Shopping at Victoria Market, Melbourne, Australia

When travelling to Melbourne, Australia... a visit to the Queen Victoria Market (Vic Mart) is a must.

The market is accessible by tram via Swanston St and Elizabeth St from the city.

Shopping TIPS:
Best time to visit is on Saturday...this is the day you'll see most stalls. Also, if you are hunting for fruits / vege / poultry and other fresh food.. go at about 1 pm.

This is the time you will get great bargains at Vic Mart. The shopkeepers just want to clear their stock..since most of them do not open on Sunday...so you'll be able to get really crazy bargains like 2 kg of tomatoes for $1...

So don't miss out. A visit to Melbourne is incomplete without visiting Vic Mart.
